On December 3rd, 2011 the Konkani version of the Canadian anthem got launched at Montreal, Canada on the occasion of the Feast of the Patrol Saint of Goa St. Francis Xavier. The idea was initiated by Mary Silveira, President of the Quebec Goan Association. It materialised at Whitney Studios, Margao and was sung by Sharon Mazarello with solo accompaniment from Goan guitarist of international repute Elvis Lobo.

SHARON TO PERFORM 'LIVE' AT THE FIRST WORLD KONKANI CULTURAL CONVENTION

Sharon, popularly known as the "Voice of Goa" and the "Leading Lady" of the recently released New Konkani 35mm Celluloid Film 'TUM KITEM KORTOLO ASLO?', will be performing live at "The First Konkani Cultural Convention" on the 30th November 2010 at Kalaangan, Mangalore.
The programme is among the many organised by Mandd Sobhann to celebrate 25 years of its service to Konkani Art and Culture.
Sharon will be accompanied by a Brass Band from Goa, led by the International Musician 'Theo Alvares'. Singers accompanying Sharon on this Tour will include WILMIX, YOUNG CHICO, JESSIE DIAS, ALBERT-ANDREW (DUO) AND THE MIL-MEL-NEL (TRIO).
CLARON MAZARELLO, leading Dance-Choreographer from South Goa will also be accompanying the Troupe with his troupe of dancers.
Sharon and her troupe promise a 'treat of Goan music and dance' to Mangaloreans on 30th Nov 2010.
